The Milk Of Sorrow 2009

The film opens with a dying mother who sings about the atrocities she suffered during Peru's Shining Path years. Even though times are now peaceful, her daughter, Fausta, lives in constant fear, afflicted by a malady in which the mother's traumas are passed onto the children through breastfeeding.
